01Markets: CFD, perps, futures
- Coinbase Derivatives turns six perp-style index futures into true perpetuals from 26 October
Coinbase Derivatives self-certified with the CFTC that its US500, Tech100, Defense10, AI10, China10 and Coin50 perp-style futures lose their stated expiration date on or after 26 October, leaving them with no expiration or final settlement date. Contract size, tick size, the funding rate method, daily settlement, margining and clearing stay the same, and funding remains the only mechanism that keeps each contract in line with its index.

- FTMO's Max Daily Loss resets two hours after platform midnight this week
FTMO monitors Max Daily Loss on Prague time, and Europe left summer time on 25 October while the MetaTrader clock stays on GMT+3 until the US change. From 26 October to 1 November the reset therefore comes two hours after MetaTrader midnight instead of one, and European stock and index CFDs trade an hour later on the MT4 and MT5 clock. The platform moves to GMT+2 on 1 November, swaps and daily reports move with it, and the usual one-hour offset returns from 2 November. FTMO on our hub →

Funded accounts can request $500 to $1,000 every day while keeping a $3,000 buffer, with an 80/20 split and no consistency rule, and the release is limited to 1,500 accounts. The consistency limit is 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% from the third. Accounts bought earlier keep the 25% lifetime consistency rule and no per-payout target.
